The food here is delicious. Our favorite is the drunken noodles with beef super (well, my boyfriend loves it! We recently went back and their dishes has the most amazing flavor every bite. Service is very good as they are super attentive. I always opt for the Thai iced tea as my choice of drink to drown out the spiciness of any dish I choose. Ambiance is very casual but pleasant dining area. Ample parking outside but NOT the best area. I wish the mall management would take care of this mess outside. There's an encampment that's getting out of hand.

My husband and I recently dined at Maya Thai Restaurant and had a mixed experience. I ordered the pumpkin curry with pork, while my husband ordered the classic pad Thai. The pumpkin curry with pork was just okay. While the flavors were decent, I felt that it lacked a certain depth and complexity that I have experienced in other Thai restaurants. The pumpkin was cooked well, but the overall taste was somewhat underwhelming. On the other hand, my husband enjoyed his pad Thai. The dish was well-balanced with a blend of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors. The noodles were perfectly cooked and crushed peanuts added a delightful crunch to each bite. One aspect of our dining experience that stood out was the excellent service. The two staff members working that evening were attentive and friendly. They promptly took our orders and ensured that we had everything we needed. Their warm and welcoming demeanor added a positive touch to our overall experience. While my pumpkin curry fell short of expectations, the flavorful and well-executed pad Thai, along with the outstanding service, redeemed our visit to Maya Thai Restaurant. We will come back!

I was with a friend and we were trying what to eat. I looked up restaurants near me and, as always, I look at the reviews. This place had a lot of reviews and great ratings. We decided to drive there. We pulled up and I was skeptical because of the location and homeless people around and even in the parking lot. I realize this has absolutely nothing to do with the restaurant. Hard to control the homeless. Anyhow, we wondered in and placed our order. I was quite surprised! EVERY dish was phenomenal! The flavors were incredible and our taste buds were very happy! The restaurant itself was very clean and it had such friendly staff! Do not get fooled by the location! It's definitely on my list to visit again!

Nice clean restaurant. Friendly service. Could be a little more attentive though. Now this review is based solely on the phad kee mao (drunken noodles). This places does it right! All the good flavors, veggies cooked right and to the right portions. Asked for Thai spicy level, and they delivered it right. The basil Wonton is meh. The wonton wrap is too flour-y and the filling isn't anything to take about. Other than that, come for the phad kee mao!

FYI- this review is based solely on the take out experience only: They have an online ordering system, which is really convenient for placing pickup orders. The ordering system is pretty straightforward and easy to use, so bonus points for the simplistic design! You can choose the pick up time, or ASAP which is nice for when you want to order ahead and pick up later. My BF picked up the food so not really sure how that process went. Food was packaged well however they only included a napkin in my order, and no utensils :( IDK if you have to be specific about that, but there wasn't an option I saw to add utensils to the order online either. Not too big of a deal when I'm eating at work, but I could see how this could be problematic if you were planning to picnic somewhere. I asked for medium spicy so we chose a 3/5 on the spice level, however I think the chef may have forgot to add in any spice at all. My drunken noodles had zerrrrrroooo chilis in it, not even a single chili pepper seed lol Fortunately, I keep sriracha on me for emergencies, so that made it all better! The noodles were cooked well but I feel like they were a bit skimpy on the veggies and chicken. I liked the texture of the noodles, and they were prepared well as they weren't all broken up. The sauce was good, had the perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness, however I think it could have used a couple more pieces of Thai basil. I'm gonna chalk up the mistake of leaving out the spice on my order to them being overly busy (as my BF did order like 10 dishes to bring home, and everything else he asked for mild). Just because they do have online ordering, I feel like I'd be back for a take out order since you can pick up without having to call in.

A couple friends and I decided to check out Maya Thai House after visiting Six Flags, since we were pretty hungry after a day of riding roller coasters. The inside is spacious and it wasn't crowded when we arrived, so we were able to be seated immediately. Coming from SF, the prices here are great and we were definitely relieved to see that they don't upcharge for the food. After we ordered our food, it didn't take too long for them all to come out. Here, we decided to order a yellow curry, crab fried rice, and pad kee mao to share between the three of us. While the quality of the food is pretty on par with other Thai places I've been to, I have to say I am a big fan of the quantity they give for the price. These are some pretty sizable portions for each dish, and we were all full afterwards. The quality here is still solid, and I was satisfied with my meal. If you want some pretty good Thai food for an affordable price, definitely check out Maya Thai house!

It's legitimately da best Thai food in Vallejo... One of my favorite places to go, it's tucked away in a strip mall off of Sonoma Blvd and Rewood St. Even though the shops surrounding the Maya thai seem a little eclectic, don't let that stop you from getting your grub on. Went here to have a going away dinner for my sis who's moving cross country to North Carolina( tears..) So we had to get in our last meal as a fam...and Maya Thai never disappoints. Dinner plates were as follows :bbq pork over steam broccoli sand white rice, drunken noodles with chicken, lemon grass fried chicken over fried rice, two orders of chow main stir fry with Vegi Tofu and nice little papaya salad to help cleanse the palette. Portion sizes are better when eat in, then take home leftovers( just a note) Ciao for now

Maya Thai is one of the better Thai places in Vallejo and I recently had a yummy takeout experience for dinner with my fam. We ordered a variety of to-go items via phone, including some vegan options: -Vegetable Deluxe with Tofu- vegan -Tofu spring rolls - vegan and fresh -Spicy Eggplant basil with chicken (love the sauce and the variety of veggies, which were cooked very well) -BBQ Pork - tender pork with a flavorful sauce and fresh broccoli and carrots. -Avocado Green Curry with Tofu- vegan (creamy and rich) Each item came with mini box of rice. The food was delicious, cooked well, very flavorful with fresh ingredients. However, I thought the prices were a little $$$- wonder if it's from inflation or the norm. Inside is spacious and nicely decorated - will have to dine in next time!
